Body Blemishes Solution for Women

In my last article, you learned about all the different kinds of body blemishes that cause skin problems for women

There are nutraceutical solutions for many of those problems. Nutraceutical is the name that has been given to nutrients and other natural compounds that have healing properties.

Here’s a look at some nutraceuticals and the blemish problems they solve.

Active Manuka Honey

Honey was used historically to treat a variety of skin conditions. Research has shown that honey has nutraceutical activity. Some varieties are simply more “active” than others. Manuka honey has proven to be more active than any other variety. It is a type of mono-floral honey, meaning that the bees who make it gather pollen only from one variety of plant, in this case the manuka bush. The healing properties likely come from the nutrients in the plant.

Active manuka honey has natural antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal activity. A cream or body lotion containing the ingredient can help to heal existing pimples or pustules and help prevent new ones from forming. The ingredient is also good for common fungal infections like athlete’s foot. The antioxidant properties of manuka honey can help prevent blackheads.

Jojoba and Grapeseed Oil

Jojoba is a North American plant that has been valued for its healing properties for thousands of years. Grapeseed oil is commonly used as cooking oil but has also been valued historically as a moisturizer for the skin. Either of these ingredients can help reduce scars and stretch marks. Together, they work even faster.

Vitamin B-5 and Vitamin E

Vitamin B-5 is needed to repair skin tissue. It has proven benefits when applied topically for helping to heal pimples and other minor injuries.

Vitamin E is very important for the skin’s health and appearance but it is important to look for products that contain natural vitamin E. Synthetic vitamin E is derived from petroleum and may provide no benefits at all. The natural form of vitamin E can help prevent age spots and also help to fade stretch marks.

Wakame Kelp Extract

Wakame kelp extract contains a variety of nutrients including sodium, iron, potassium, calcium and all of the B-vitamins. The combination of nutrients provides healing properties which is why the extract is chosen as an ingredient, rather than the individual nutrients it contains.

Wakame has natural anti-inflammatory activity which helps reduce swelling associated with pimples, pustules, cysts and other blemishes. The ingredient can also reduce redness and help to even out skin discolorations.

Xtend-TK

Xtend-TK is a protein-based formula that has proven to be beneficial for many skin conditions. One of the benefits related to body blemishes is that it stimulates the production of new skin cells. This speeds up the skin’s natural rejuvenation processes that heal pimples, fade scars and reduce stretch marks.

Another benefit is related to age spots and uneven pigmentation. Xtend-TK helps to boost the skin’s antioxidant content, which in turn will correct uneven pigmentation caused by UV rays from the sun.

There isn’t a lot you can do about freckles and moles, but the regular use of a good body lotion containing all of the nutraceutical ingredients you have learned about here will help with most body blemishes. Solutions from nature are always the safest and are often more effective than any other treatment.
