How to Rejuvenate Damaged Skin

In order to treat skin damage, you have to treat the causes.  A hydrating facial mask containing manuka honey and other healing properties with nourishing ingredients will help you do that.

If you read my last article, you know that learning how to prevent damage is just as important as learning how to restore skin. Minor wounds must be treated and managed properly in order to prevent serious infections. The popular antibiotic drugs were probably never the best option and they certainly are not today.

**Natural Antibacterial Activity - Healing Power

Manuka honey has natural antibacterial activity. When we choose ingredients with natural antibacterial or antiseptic activity for treating wounds we do not run the risk of creating stronger more resistant bacteria.

If the bacteria has already become resistant to antibiotic drugs, natural antibacterial agents will still work. This has been proven in clinical studies concerning burns and antibiotic resistant staph infections like

The skin healing properties of manuka honey include antioxidant activity. Antioxidants work to prevent free radical damages and can also help you achieve damage repair, especially if the damages were caused by sunburns.

**Reduce Skin Roughness & Redness

A hydrating facial mask can reduce roughness and redness. It can reduce inflammation and speed the healing of wounds. It can also prevent many of the things that we talked about in the last article, if it is used on a regular basis.

One of the reasons that we need skin damage repair has to do with excessive dryness. Excessive dryness may be due to:

1. frequent shaving,
2. over-cleansing,
3. aging or even
4. climate.

You may remember from my previous article that when the skin’s surface is too dry, it is more easily damaged. The simple solution is to restore the natural moisture balance, enhancing the natural skin healing properties.

This applies to that which has been scarred by wounds. You could have stretch marks. These issues can be addressed with a hydrating mask. If manuka honey doesn’t do the trick, other ingredients present in the best masks will take care of the job.

**Soften Skin - Macadamia Oil

Macadamia oil softens rough spots and calluses. Avocado oil increase the skin’s collagen content, which helps fade stretch marks, scars and wrinkles.

Natural vitamin E helps to reduce age spots caused by excessive sun exposure. If used regularly, it can prevent age spots from forming due to its antioxidant activity.

**Coenzyme Q10 - Repairs Skin Burns

Coenzyme Q10 is the most effective ingredient known for repairing skin burns caused by the sun and even for repairing signs of sun damage, such as wrinkles, roughness and excessive dryness.

Allantoin has natural anti-inflammatory activity. They will help reduce redness and heal any condition in which inflammation is involved.

Until recently, you would have had to use dozens of products in order to find all of these ingredients in the right concentration and the right form. Through research, development and the latest in cellular rejuvenation technology, at least one company has been able to include all of those ingredients in one hydrating mask. It is the solution that you need to treat skin damage. Womens - Hydrating Mask
